SOFTWARE COMPANY SCENSE STRENGTHENS SALES TEAM WITH INTERNATIONAL
CHANNEL SALES MANAGER AND PRE SALES MANAGER
Rapid expansion of successful activities in and outside the
Benelux
The Dutch software company Scense, developer of software for Dynamic Session Control, has appointed Maarten van Hintum as International Channel Sales Manager. Scense has created this new function to further expand its successful activities in and outside the Benelux. As International Channel Sales Manager, Van Hintum will be involved in the expansion of the sales network and the extension and support of a partner network.
Arie Joosse has been appointed as Pre Sales Manager. As Pre Sales Manager,
Joosse will be involved with the expansion of the sales network and the
extension and support of a partner network. Besides these activities, he will be
the contact point for members of the sales team concerning technical
issues.
Maarten van Hintum
Maarten brings over 28 years of experience in the
IT industry, of which 16 years in sales, to Scense. Maarten has a strong ability
to develop new markets and to establish excellent relationships with end-users,
partners and systems integrators. In his former role as Regional Manager with
Altiris, Maarten was one of the top sales performers worldwide and was nominated
every year for the Altiris Quota Plus Club.
" I have a strong drive to
succeed and I value my personal relationships. I am also a strong and reliable
negotiator - always looking for ways to structure a deal to create a win-win
situation", says Maarten.
Beside management roles with Getronics and
Unify Corporation, Maarten has a strong track record at an international sales
level. As VP EMEA with the CP Software Group, Maarten has built a market from
scratch in the arena of 4GL's and relational databases.
Arie Joosse
Previously Arie has worked for Altiris for five
years, an important partner of Scense, with whom it closely cooperates. With
Altiris, he was also involved in pre sales and together with the commercial
manager responsible for the expansion of activities in the Benelux. The
appointment of Arie is giving the cooperation with Altiris an important impulse.
Before his period with Altiris, he was employed by ICL as a consultant for
Microsoft Windows 2000. He started his career with Triple P, focusing on
consultancy and training. In his last job position, with Databalk, Arie was
actively involved in pre sales and projects.
"I consider it a wonderful
challenge to start with Scense right at this moment", says Joosse. "The company
finds itself very near a huge expansion in the Netherlands, but also abroad.
More and more companies are opting for software virtualization, something to
which Scense can add incredible value. The knowledge and experience I have
gained at Altiris, an important Scense partner in the area of virtualization,
are very well applicable in my new function with
Scense."
