- New: Simple pre-caching. The way the Scense local cache works might cause unexpected loss of service for offline laptop users. The new pre-caching algorithms will effectively solve this by simulating the use of all shortcuts and file type associations right after installing an application. This way all shortcuts and file type associations will immediately be available offline. This feature was first introduced in interim release build 1146.
Service Release Scense 7 available for download
As of today, the service release of Scense 7 (build 1080) is available for download. Customers using Scense 7 are encouraged to download a new ISO from the Scense website and install the updated Scense client and Scense Explorer software by using the Windows Installer packages on the CD.
