Solid Ventures for a solid future
Scense B.V. has completed its first round of investment from Solid Ventures, a venture capital fund that focuses on young and innovative Dutch IT companies. Solid Ventures is one of the parties to receive funding from TechnoPartner Seed-facility, an initiative by the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs. Solid Ventures’ shareholders are its management, represented by Floris van Alkemade, Herman de Latte and Robert Wilhelm, together with a group of private investors all of whom have a successful track record as entrepreneurs or investors in the ICT and Media industries. The investment in Scense will be used for further development of innovative, user-based, desktop and notebook management solutions offering IT departments real-time insight and management for all their desktops and applications. In addition, Scense has immediate ambitions to increase their channel activities and expand internationally.
