The loyalty of our customer base proves our case. Scense 5.0 will offer even more reasons for you to join. The main focus of this release is on the Ease of Use for the IT administrator. This release also offers Dynamic Workspace Configuration which configures desktops without using GPO's and offers support for the management of Softgrid streams.

 

Ease of Use

Scense 5.0 has a new redesigned interface that will offer increased manageability and reduced complexity. 9 years of experience in the desktop and application management market has been used to create an intuitive, administrator-friendly interface that does not need much training. First time users of Scense will be able to learn Scense in hours rather than days.

Dynamic Workspace Configuration

The powerful and unique architecture of Scense enabled us to provide IT-departments with full control off all workspace-configurations within their organization. With Dynamic Workspace Configuration the IT-administrator will have the tools to provide the end-users with stable and functioning workspaces wherever and whenever they work, decrease security-risks and implement policies like a corporate house style or green policies to save energy. Dynamic Workspace Configuration gives the IT-administrator full control without the drawbacks of locked down desktops or complex policy settings.

Enhanced MSI Support

The enhanced MSI support of Scense 5.0 delivers fast and unattended deployment of Vendor MSI’s, upgrades and security-(patches). With Scense 5.0 our customers will be able to provide their end users with applications in time because of the short deployment-cycles Scense guarantees and without the cost of application packaging.

Softgrid Support

Scense 5.0 supports the management and deployment of Softgrid-streams. An increasing number of organizations use Softgrid to provide their end- users with applications. Our customers understand that the way applications are deployed depend on factors like the applications itself and the type of hardware used. By using Scense, multiple deployment-types can be managed within one system and one management-console.

Printer Management

Scense 5.0 provides our customers with a powerful engine for printing management functionality. With Scense 5.0 our customers will be able to manage all printers and jobs in a flexible manner based on a variety of factors like workspace, application in use, type or location of desktop etc.
